International Safety @ Sea Week

A refreshed Safety@Sea Singapore Campaign was unveiled in 2018 by Chief Executive of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), Mr Andrew Tan, at the launch of the 5th International Safety@Sea Week at Marina South Pier. To improve the safety of passengers on MPA-licensed regional ferries, MPA will also co-fund the upgrading of lifejackets and receptacles on board MPA-licensed regional passenger ferries.

 

MPA organizes the International Safety@Sea Week annually to enhance maritime safety by raising awareness and instilling a safety-first culture. SPBA was honoured to be invited to attend the launch of the refreshed Safety@Sea Singapore Campaign and the 5th International Safety@Sea conference together with a hundred international maritime professionals from other countries.

The launch was held at the Singapore Maritime Gallery @ 31 Marina Coastal Drive and the conference was at Marina Mandarin.
